N P Kinariwala Group (NPK) commenced trading operations in 1943. In the beginning, textile machine accessories were imported and sold to Indian textile mills.
Manufacturing operations started in early 1960's by re-engineering some of the textile machinery parts imported at that time. Insistence on consistent quality started paying dividends and NPK was soon accepted as quality product. Exports started in early 1970's to the very same companies in USA, UK, Switzerland, which were exporting to India a decade back.
Emphasis was on manufacture of few products but achieve technical supremacy with market leadership. As a result NPK holds quite a few national and international patent rights on products and improvements.
NPK takes a lot of pride in building long term relationships. Quite a few of customers and suppliers have remained unchanged since over 35 years. Children of employees join the group. Situation exists in so many sections where skills are passed on by father to son.
