The word POGGEN - AMP has been derived from the names of two reputed scientists. POGGENDOFF (POGGEN), a German Electrochemist and ANDRE AMPERE (AMP), the renowned French Physicist. This formed the base of the name, POGGEN - AMP NAGARSHETH POWERTRONICS LIMITED.
POGGEN - AMP NAGARSHETHS, a partnership firm was established in 1981 by a team of first generation entrepreneurs. The beginning was on a very modest footing and blessed by the sheer dedication and hard work, the unit progressed over the years and the partnership firm, on May 14, 1992, was incorporated as POGGEN - AMP NAGARSHETH POWERTRONICS LIMITED, a joint stock company closely held by families, Nagarsheth & Doshi.
Today, we are manufactures of a wide range of Electrical Laminations which find their use in all type of Static & Rotating machines viz. Transformers, U.P.S, Battery charges, Rectifiers, Contactors, Energy meters, Induction motors, Single phase motors, DC motors, Traction motors, Servo motors, Generators, Wind Generators, Alternators, to name a few.
With the backing of the vast experience of the industry and the expertise gained over a period of 20 years, we have had very good growth prospects. Our products are well accepted not only in Indian market but also in the exceedingly competitive International market of Europe, Asia, South America, North America and the Middle East with our sights trained on markets of Australia & Africa.
