The idea behind the development of the said Furnace,is to help the people of the nation,where the population is increasing day by day. It is indeed a news of pleasure that the death arte is reducing but the
number of cremations are increasing day by day. The most of the funerals in our country are done with the conventional way of wood, because the major part of the population are Hindus, Jains, Banias, Darjis, Luhars, Suthars and so on.,who religiously observing the above above refered system of funeral. As you all know, the common method of conventational cremation is by putting the dead body on the woods and then set fire therein.The said system have many negative points then the positive one of the religion. If you consider the damage to the atmosphere due to the improper combustion of the wood,which generates a high volume of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.Which is hazardus to the humenbeing as well as to the nature. Second majoure disadvantge is the consumption of wood, a survey says
that, to creamate a normal adult dead body you require around 300 KGS of woodconsider the death rate in a city like Ahemdabad which is average 10
persons per day, means only Ahmedabad consumes around 90 tonnes wood
per month,the cost part these will also harm our forests and thus our
nature and future by disturbing the rain cycle.
Now if we compare the above cost with the cost of the cremation in
electrically operated cremation furnaces,It consumes around 800 KWH
for initial heating, if we consider the unit price Rs.2.25 per unit,it
will comes to Rs.1,800=00 to raise the temperature upto 650 deg.C
[recommanded for the proper cremation.] This will definetely too less
compare to the wood.If we considered only FIVE,means 50% of the
average in the general cremate the dead body in the electrical
furnace,the operational cost of the furnace will come down
drastically.The operational cost can further drop down if the
Cremation/Day increases,because the body tends to generate the heat
while cremated due to the exothermic reactions of the body at
cremation temperature.
Above all the electrical crematoria gives a better,hygenic,nature
friendly oddourless cremations.,which are most required in the cities
like Ahmedabad,Bombay,Banglore,Calcutta and so on,whre now a days
crematorias are in the centre of the city.
